2017 Best of Baltimore issue
On Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 2640 Space (2640 St. Paul Street), we will mark the 10th anniversary of Freddie Gray’s death at the hands of Baltimore police.
6:15pm: doors open; join us for an exhibit of art by and about
Tyrone West, who was killed by Baltimore City and Morgan
State University police in July 2013.
7:00pm: Artists and activists Andria Nacina Cole, Aaron Maybin, and Chloe McNeill join moderator Brittani McNeill to reflect on what has and hasn’t changed over the past decade.
8:00pm: Judah Adashi, Erricka Bridgeford, Sanahara Ama Chandra, Imani-Grace Cooper, LAVENA, Brooks Long, J Pope, and Devin Robinson perform “Rise” (poetry by Tameka Cage Conley, music by Judah Adashi)
